get to know me
Hello, I'm Samantha Hinkemeyer. I'm a photographer based in the Twin Cities are in Minnesota. I do a wide range of different photography styles but I have a common concept that makes all the images unique to me and my client. Ever since I picked up a small Sony camera at 11 years old I fell in love with the art of photography and the ability to visually tell a story through an image. I love adding a cinematic charm to my projects through coloring and angles, mainly because I love the flexibility of that cinematic look as it allows an image to be creative, professional, visually and aesthetically pleasing.
environmental and scenic
I experiment a lot with my work, creating a darker look on a picture allows somewhere to feel warm and pronounced, bringing attention to the environment.
senior pictures and portraits
Adding an artistic charm to your senior pictures allows yours to stand out and be different from others. With my photography you will receive a series of images that give a strong and competent message about who you are and what you can do.
events
While photographing events I like to focus on the entire crowd. Showing off the success of the gathering and getting an overall image of the center of attention. Pulling all the way in I also like to individually point out the achievements by making my focal point one specific thing.
videography
Everything I apply to my photography I also apply to my videography. Focusing on creating a visual that brings attention to one specific thing and pointing out the details that someone may not notice if it wasn't shown.
